The wishing the best of the fired wrestler's future endeavors is really probably just something that arose in a "groupthink" meeting. Where one idiot came up with it as a way of making WWE sound like they're not all cold and heartless. Plus it gives them a way to say "such and such are not here anymore" to the fans without harping on it.

In the reality, it just sounds as generic and thoughtless as it can get. But that's corporatism at it's finest.
