#Quote
We shot Kissin' Cousins (1964) in seventeen days, and I think that was the turning point. Up until then, certain standards had been maintained. Once they realized they could do a film so quickly, we were on fast pictures. The first time I noticed it was in Roustabout (1964). Elvis rode a Honda in it. Which is pretty silly, when you think about it, because Elvis rides Harleys. Yet, in the film, they put him on a 350 Honda. And this is a guy who's playing a drifter whose only mode of transportation is his bike. This is a guy who supposedly goes across country on a machine that's about right for the driveway, a 350 Honda.
#Fact
Parents are Mary Jean and Ernest Legault.
Is not related to Jason LeGault.
Attended and graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in Chillicothe, Illinois in 1955.
Lived in an orphanage for a time between his father's death when he was four and when his mother remarried.
Following his death, he was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Hollywood Hills) in Los Angeles, California.
Narrated an audio portion of a tour for Elvis Presley's Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. [November 2004]
Can be seen in the "live performance" segments of Elvis' '68 Comeback Special, sitting on the edge of the stage, occasionally playing a tambourine during songs.
Is well-known for his portrayals of stern and severe military personnel, especially officers.
Had four children with his wife Theresa LeGault: Mary LeGault, Teresa LeGault, Marcus LeGault and Lance LeGault Jr.
Received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.
Last name is pronounced "LUH-GOH"... not "Gault" as in "Fault".
Lance LeGault was an accomplished pilot, and enjoyed flying his Cessna Skyhawk. He also breeded Arabian horses on his ranch.
Doubled for Elvis Presley in several of his movies, including Kissin' Cousins (1964), in which there was an error in one of the scenes where you can see it's Lance when it's supposed to be Elvis.
