Jacob Frey (born 23 July 1981) is an American famous personality, politician, and entrepreneur from Oakton, Virginia, United States. He is the current and the 48th Mayor of Minneapolis. He is also a politician and a member of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.

Before becoming the mayor, he worked for the Minneapolis City Council. In 2017, Jacob was elected to the mayor’s election. After winning the election, he was sworn in as Mayor on 2 January 2018. From January 2, 2018, he serves the position of the 48th Mayor of Minneapolis.

He is also a member of a Democratic Political party. Apart from a politician, he is also an athlete. He won the title of CAA 5,000-meter in 2002 at Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
