Bradley Cooper Left Younger Actress to Date Hillary Clinton's Aide, Source Claims

Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper is not new to the dating scenes. Even though he prefers to live privately, his love life has often been a source of juicy tabloid headlines. A source now claims that he left actress Dianna Agron to be with his current beau.

Bradley Cooper has often made headlines for his award-winning films, but his highly publicized romances have also seen him hit the tabloids time and again.

He is known to date only the most elegant Hollywood beauties, including "My One and Only" actress Renée Zellweger, actress and musician Jennifer Lopez, English model, actress, and singer Suki Waterhouse and the "Get Over It" actress Zoe Saldana.

Even so, his most popular romance was with Russian model Irina Shayk. The pair began dating in 2015 and took their relationship a notch higher when they welcomed their daughter Lea De Seine in 2017.

Their relationship appeared to thrive, and the two looked happy. Unfortunately, the pair split in June 2019 after four years, and the reason remains unclear.

They have, however, remained good friends and cordially co-parent their daughter. Years after their split, the pair still spends time together, evident from photos of the trio during the 2021 Thanksgiving weekend.

FINDING LOVE AGAIN

After his split from Shayk, the "Limitless" actor found love again with 11-years-younger Dianna Agron. The two hit it off after her marriage to Winston Marshall ended.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly that Cooper was very thoughtful of Agron and would fly her family whenever they went. He was also reportedly the most likable guy to her and her friends.

Unfortunately, the romance seemed to be a short-lived connection. Around the same time, the tabloids started reporting that Cooper was dating political staffer Huma Abedin. Reports claimed that when his romance with Abedin began, he had been dating Agron, but casually.

Reports say that Vogue editor Anna Wintour, a close friend to Cooper and Abedin, played matchmaker and introduced the two. A Hollywood insider told Page Six adding:

"Bradley broke up with [actress] Dianna Agron and started dating Huma."

While all of Cooper's relationships have been with beautiful and famous Hollywood actresses, the actor appears to have gone against the grain with his most recent romance. But who is Huma Abedin?

Abedin has made a mark in the fashion scene over the years. However, her day-to-day is in the political scene, where she has worked since interning at the White House in 1996.

Before moving to Saudi Arabia, Abedin's parents emigrated from Pakistan and India to Michigan, US, where Abedin was born. She prides herself in her multicultural background and has embraced being Muslim and American while maintaining her Indian and Pakistan roots.

After completing school, she interned at the White House in 1996 and worked in the First Lady's office. There she began her profession in politics, a career she has built for the past 25 years.

After interning for four years, she became the senior advisor to then-Senator Clinton in the US Senate. She then became the deputy chief of staff for Clinton's presidential campaign in 2008 and later vice chair of Hillary for America campaigns in 2016.

Today she works as Hillary Clinton's longtime aide and has been a reliable keeper of details, optics, and logistics, a position she has maintained diligently over the years.

Despite working for one of America's most prominent families, Abedin managed to keep her private life away from the spotlight. Unfortunately, while her career thrived, her personal life took a nosedive, placing her in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

She married her ex-husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner in July 2010. According to her memoir "Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds," Weiner pursued her for years after learning she was a religiously observant Muslim.

She says since knowing him, she'd never seen him drink. She was inexperienced in relationship matters, and when she married Weiner in 2010, at 32, she'd never been with a man before, and he was her first, as her background dictated.

They married and welcomed a son, Jordan, a year later. Even so, she was unhappy in her marriage as she discovered early on that Weiner was not the man she thought he was.

While she kept her inhibitions to herself, even supporting her husband through "thick and thin," the straw that broke the camel's back came from a scandal involving her husband that forced him to step down as congressman.

Abedin recalls: "I had my heart broken, dragged out, stomped on, humiliated. I lived with shame, in shame, for so long."

"I was in extreme trauma." She told the Cuts' Lisa Miller. Eventually, her marriage broke down, and she separated from her now ex-husband in August 2016, filing for divorce in May 2017.

Even with the unfortunate ending of her marriage, Abedin has created memorable friendships, including with Wintour, who she says helped her through some of her most challenging periods.

Wintour not only gave Abedin a safe space but also introduced her to Cooper, the man that would make her believe in love again.

After such a tumultuous period in her life, Abedin was lucky to meet Cooper. The two have been lying low, but a well-placed source told Page Six that they were the perfect match, saying:

"They are perfect for each other."

The source also claimed that Abedin was gradually letting the cat out of the bag concerning her new man, even if she couldn't name him. Another source seems to think that Abedin found a man she is happy with, adding that Cooper is just as delighted with her:

"Bradley is a big step up from Anthony Weiner, to say the very least."

Even though the two have been dating for several months, they still prefer their relationship to remain low-key, as evident from the 2022 Met Gala in New York City.

While they arrived together, they separated once inside and hit the red carpet separately. Abedin, looking gorgeous in a canary-yellow gown, posed for photos as Cooper walked and kept his distance behind her.
